Hi ,will have a look at the manual we have with our 130 and see if it has the diagram you need. Car is same as ours with centre box, but doesn't mean the workshop book is right for our car. Will check over the weekend and let you know. Cheers, Rob :D

There are a few variants of the wiring diagram. I have made my own wiring loom that incorporates my EFI wiring, but used this original I lifted from somewhere as an aid on the colour coding. Here it is if it helps.

When I was playing with my '73 Plus 2 S dashboard Dave I had to make a 'physical' map of what wire connected to what connector on what switch to keep sane!

Also took a photo of it all connected up. It's quite high res so download it and you can look around at (most of) the terminal layouts, and with comparison with the physical map, it may start to make sense.

The dash is without doubt the complicated bit...the straight wiring diagram should sort you out for the rest.

If you are taking yours apart though do check the layout with the diagrams. Lotus wiring looms can have some variations, and of course, previous owners may also have their own ideas of what is correct!

Really good idea. What software did you use?
Not many of the free ones allow wires with trace colours, but I'm using draw.io to reproduce the original wiring diagram (which I can create trace colours on), and then I can mess about with relays and fuses etc. Also it helps me "learn" the loom as I go.
Rapidharness is a good free tool for actual loom design but if we're just copying what's already there, probably overkill.

I believe this is the diagram you need. It's the one that matches my s130 with dash fuse box. Not sure if it will be readable in this format or not.

I plan to create a spread sheet that lists all the wiring as basis if doing a custom look for my car to add various relays and support for ac. But probably years off finishing that at current rate.

Hi

Having recommissioned my +2s130/5 (NPW866M, which I believe is one of the last press cars) earlier in the year after 10 years off the road, I decided to redraw the electrical schematic in CorelDraw, this enabled me to produce a pdf version which you can zoom up and get much better detail, or print without loss.

Hopefully I've managed to attach it OK, along with a jpg of it, as this is my first post

https://www.classiccarwiring.com/ Has a nice big laminated color version. It’s nice, but I have a Plis 2 S and it is for a 130, which should suit you well. Better because it shows the wires in color.

It is also totally wrong....It shows the +2S130 as having a V8 distributor!.....I wonder what year that is suppose to have happened!...Interesting proposition though, a V8 in a +2

I think they use the same example image for all the diagrams. Rather than show each diagram, they probably worried about the image being copied which I can't blame then for. I'd be more likely to purchase if I could see the diagram was correct for my car given the number of variations.

Yes having looked again I think you are right. The 'quick view' is just an example of all diagrams. Like you say though with the different variations used on the Elan+2 it would fill me with more confidence to buy if I had seen a specific diagram example for the car I wanted it for.
