Elan +2 bonnet help

Hi can anybody tell me what is missing from the bonnet edge of my 68 Elan +2 it has the 2 holes both sides.

The threaded bobbins are for the square, steel tube stiffener onto which the bonnet fasteners are mounted. They seem to be in place on your car. Am I looking at the correct threaded 'holes'?
