I have a windscreen for a plus 2 that I accumulated for sale- it is in good order and is a heated screen. Price negotiable.

Hell Nic; it's only an ocean and a continent away - Captain George Vancouver made it here in the late 1700's.
That was facetious of me. Shipping is, of course not practical!
10 years ago I purchased (with a group built up on this forum) a front screen for my 1600 on speck - I didn't need it at the time - 2 years ago I replaced my original due to over 50 years of road grit erosion.
Good luck in your search

Thanks Bill, annoyingly the UK company who made them in recent years destroyed their moulds about a year ago, not very helpful!
I've tried several times over the last few years to locate one on the forum but they are clearly rarer than rocking horse manure.

I know how it feels Nic, I am restoring a '72 Sprint F H Coupe and need a rear windscreen for it - will be making a plastic one.
However, on the farm, my unicorn mare is in heat and will be foaling come spring if you really want the foal I can hold it for you.

Hi Nic
You may like to check item number 143497508016 on Ebay. Also Kelvedon Lotus lists a +2 rear screen - rather expensive , but available.

Thanks for those leads Baggy. I don’t think the eBay one is heated but I’ve asked the question. At £625 that Kelvedon one is a bit pricey. I must have spent close on £30k on the rebuild so far so it can be argued that another 600 is neither here nor there, but it’s still a fair bit of dosh for something that will probably never be used (I do have a non heated screen I can use). I’ll mull it over but suspect I’ll end up buying it.

Where, then, lies the answer? In choice. Which shall it be: bankruptcy of purse or bankruptcy of life?

Certainly a damn sight cheaper way of getting a demister. As always one is faced with the question, “do I pay for originality”
