I'm very sorry but I hate green cars! 99.9% of the time but yours really suits it well done.

Looking good, is that an original head-lining or a replacement? Mine currently has no interior trim!

The headlining material was/is called Lodestar, which I believe is now available again, thanks to the Ford boys.

No affiliation with the company and I haven't tried them. Last time I tried to get some Lodestar it was regarded as unobtainable (I sourced some old stock), but this seems to have changed.

I don't think the picture is "lodestar". It looks to be the later headlining.
Lodestar was on the earlier +2s and as you say hard to get hold of... I got the impression from a chap at Martrim that Aldridge would only supply as a complete headlining... [but, I don't have this direct from Aldridge]

Great looking car!

Believe they call the later headlining material (like this car) 'Confetti'.

When I did my Lodestar car a while ago Sue Miller supplied both the sewn headliner and loose fabric by the yard. The loose fabric is required for the C Pillar portions (where the coat hooks and courtesy lights are located.

I had been looking for "confetti" material for my S4se, and could not get any a couple years ago (it had been unavailable for a few years, though some approximate vendors located in Crediton sold me generic grained stuff claiming high and strong they had it till I sent them a sample upon receiving their shipment).

Then a year ago or so confetti material was available at SMS Auto Fabric (Canby, OR 97013), in two variations, one a bit smaller pitch and one a bit larger pitch (it comes in different colors, too) :

I believe confetti kits are now available from several vendors in the UK as well, though I don't know if it is of the exact pitch Lotus used, or possible made of the American material.

no affiliation on my part
