Does anybody know if the defroster vents in a +2 were used on any other Brit car (besides Europa)?

Hi david, if you are talking about the metal rectangle slotted vents on top of the dash pad, I believe they are from the later ford mk1 cortina as I've seen them on eBay advertised as such.

I have the metal slotted parts on top. I need the plastic "difuser" part
that sits just under the dash crash pad, and bottom connects to the
"heater box" via a rubber duct

Not sure if it helps you much in the US, but they are Ford Corsair 1967 to end of production. Not sure if the Cortina ones are the same.

Given the rarity of the Corsair in NA, you may have to see if a UK based member could buy the part for you and ship it?

In the past several guys have done similar random acts of kindness for a free-will offering to a charity of your choice or a donation to the Forum at the bottom of the page. :D

Cheers!

Have a look in the parts for sale section of the forum, there's a guy in Wisconsin that has a pair for sale.

Good luck

if those are sold, I replaced mine when I did my vintage air conversion with their vents that fit perfect, screw holes and all IIRC

I'm pretty sure they are Cortina, late airflow Mk1 and in Mk2 models, so they should be easily available in the US market.
