I'd rather sell the pair I think. I'll pm you a ballpark figure and we can go from there.
Cheers

So going through a few spare parts that came with the car, I found another front lotus badge, the one on the car as more yellow and green whereas the one in the bag (forgot to take a pic) idvery orangy yellow and slightly differant possibly sized logo would this be the original possibly ? And is if worth selling one there quite expensive new for what they are I think !

Post a pic side by side - I suspect the second badge might be a later badge from a more modern Lotus perhaps with a different font altogether?

Well, the one on the right has the correct (lighter) yellow as well as the correct (san serif) font for our Elan/Plus 2 cars. But the one on the left (orange-y yellow with serif font) may well be a factory Lotus roundel . . . I just don't know from what cars/era . . .

Hope that helps . . .

Chris
The LH badge is the one that is from the GM era on. Around 1988 onwards.
If it's enamel it's still worth a bit. They used them up until the end of Elise S1 production. Now they are all plastic and if one of those worth not a lot.

Ok cool it is an enamel badge, might still keep it though as you never know when you park up somewhere and some bugger decided to take the nice badge they ain't seen before off the front !

So close to being up and running now, but with the sunny weather I decided to push it out and polish it
In the sun I could see the defects in the lawyer which I want very happy with, so spent today colour sanding to get rid of the dust and peel in the paint

Had to picture it, but until I started Sanding I didn't realise how bad the peel was

Took quite a bit of building up to take sandpaper to the new paint though! Bit it's coming out better
