Brooklands Double Twelve

It was very good to see two beautiful +2's - one early Burnt Sand, the other a 130/5 in immaculate white - at Brooklands this weekend.

Sorry I didn't catch your names, but it was good to compare notes and provide a bit of inspiration to my 1969 +2S restoration.

Yes, I saw those, both very nice, the white one was particularly stunning I thought.

Just seen the article of the event and think you are passing comments to my white Plus 2 which is just back on the road after an 8 year restoration.

That looks lovely Steve. Did you go through Guildford at the weekend? I saw a very nice white +2 going towards Jacobs Well but unfortunately I wasn't in mine :-(

Steve, I owned RHT900M from 1981/2 through about 1991. I have some history that you may be interested in... :D

Lovely to hear that she is back on the road again, I do not feel as guilty now...

Thanks for all the complimentary comments it been labour of love getting it to this condition but i dont need to tell you all of that as all are fully aware of the effort required.

Rich almost certainly my car as was on route to a long weekend away with my wife who initially was always concerned about the reliability but afterwards with a faultless trip she is converted and now planning another few days away in the car.
Phil if you have any history on the car i would be really pleased to hear from you i acquired the car in 1995 from the previous owner who livid in Addlestone, not sure where you live but would be nice to meet up id possible.
