Carlisle in Cumbria has just seen the opening of a Lotus and sports car dealership. I was surprised to receive a request from them for the loan of my 130/5 as window dressing during their opening celebrations. It had pride of place in the centre of the showroom surrounded by a DB9, a Ferrari, an Audi R10 as well as Elise, Exige, Evoras etc.and other sports cars. Apparently, it created a lot of interest, and it certainly looked good under the bright lights. If wasn't mine I would have bought it.

Hey Phil, here's a photo of my Elan with my son Colin and I. It's in my driveway, not a showroom, but I'm a happy guy who likes to share photos
