Elan +2 that went missing in 1977

I went on a BMW site to 'get a warranty' quote

In error I put JLK888K. It came up with a cortina 1600 vin BABFLJ41712. Reg 30/9/71

So proves site works to reverse VIN from Reg

I also gave correct vin for Elan plus2 JLB885K

Unfortunately JLB888K didn't work

I'll keep looking
