Rare Paint LO24 Firecracker

Lo24 Firecracker was a red Plus 2 paint colour, introduced in late in production in October 1973 and only used through to January 74.

Does anyone have a photo of a Plus 2 in this hue, please?

Yeah, saw that pic on the Europa colours pages. How do we know that car has the actual Lotus code? Is the Europa site pretty careful about vetting these pix??

How do you know this is a +2 colour, I haven't seen any records of a +2 in this colour? I haven't checked Europa or Elite records so could be one of those?

That Esprit is not right, as Tim says it was only available for a short period (may have only been a limited colour) and so before the Esprit days.

The Espirit looks very close to the current Ardent Red
