Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

My +2 is a cherry red- certainly not "carnival red" which is the only red that I can find listed for Elan/ +2. I have seen some photos on the web showing a similar colour.

Is the cherry red a post-delivery respray, or was it factory despite not appearing "in the book"?
