Interesting that "sick" is used the same way over here! :?

Glad to hear that the "yoot" of the world can still imagine something that old can still be "cool".

He is not saying sick, he is saying sic. Which means really cool.

It`s all subjective but certainly if you think you`re cool, you`re definitely not. I`m sure I`m not cool..........so maybe I am.

I know I'm not cool, but I definitely think the Plus 2 is cool!

And . . . my 16 year old son and mid-twenties daughter and son-in-law think it's cool, too.

So it MUST be cool!

The + is by far the best looking of the Elan's.
Have you ever seen a picture of a tall guy in a standard ?lan?
Even Emma was a bit tall for one.
It makes it look like a toy.
The + has better lines, the long sloping rear looks much better.
I was looking at getting one, but didn't, the back bone chassis on Elans really has it problems and the lack of any safety features is a problem.
But still I did get a Lotus and I often check this forum just to see pictures of Plus Twos.

I?ve had my Plus 2 for a week and it still needs a little work before I can even start it, plus it has a lot of other things that need mending, to say nothing of a whole lot of 'patina?...but despite all that, the thing just seems to get cooler by the second! I'm really digging its old-school GT charm, yearning to enjoy its blend of performance and legroom, etc. It seems to drip sweet charisma the same way that a Mark Knopfler guitar-lick does. This car is way-cooler than I am, and I can only hope that even a faint smidge of that cool rubs off on me.

Am I biased? Definitely, but this car really is that cool.
