I saw that too - lovely looking silver car that appears to have had a full burgundy leather re-trim too - I guess whether you think this makes it cool depends on whether you think a 'posh' English brand of shirts is cool or one for men of a certain age!

BTW ordered 5 shirts for ?90 yesterday!!

OK, so at the risk of showing my age and in truth admitting that I've never even driven one the +2 has always been cool and the sight of one brings back that late 60s early 70s frame of mind that no GT6 or TR6 or MG A/B/C or 240 Z or Camaro or Vette could ever bring. Maybe a 911 or an E Type or a GTV Alfa, and not quite the panache of a Maserati or Ferrari or Aston, but always, always cool!

They should have take the shots with the headlights in the down position. They were to focused on the shirt.

I have seen this car before on the front cover of the AA magazine 2 years ago, it belonged to a classic car club in London, very distinctive paint and, interior colour I remember as it was the same as my sunbeam alpine

I think the +2 is cool ... It might be controversial but i think they look better lights up!>??

Mine is the same colour as the one in the ad. Its not original, but it is a Lotus colour (Saturn Silver).

Sadly i dont have a nice brugundy interior .. mines original black plastic with lots of ... 'patina' (think thats how a dealer might describe it)

As the guy in the picture is smiling he clearly has never had to change the donuts or water pump! ;-)

My Plus2 is COOL,just had the wheels rebalanced ( why can't one trust a professional to do a decent job ?) and is now as smooth as silk...just come back from the test drive ( with the drivers widow down ) and at an indicated 100 it was actually 95 mph at 4250 rpm in 5th,gearchange not as good as the Ford box but not far behind...Summer's here...

I recently bought a burger at a Mcdonalds drive through. At the pay window the 17 year old took my money and said 'cool car' - there is still hope for the younger generation!

I heard a local yoot comment that he thought my car was 'sick' as he walked past.. I didn't realise they were so good at engine diagnosis, just from the idle tone.
