Electric fuel pump

PostPost by: Mjnboys » Sat Oct 18, 2014 6:30 pm

Hi

I want to fit an electric fuel pump to my P2, I have a pump that regulates between 4-7psi, does anyone know if this is suitable of would it over pressure?

Thanks

Dave

Hello Dave
you can always fit a pressure regulator or buy a pump that runs at those pressures there not expensive

Hi Dave,
Webers DCOE carbs like to run between 2.5 and 4.5psi. If your pump puts out 7psi, I would definitely fit a pressure regulator in the fuel line to reduce the risk of flooding.
