Well nice, so I was in a car show in Austin Texas yesterday and got first in my class of Classic Lotus (pre 2004 but still the only one! Evora Exige and Elise tho post 04). The car had been off the road since 1990 and its first outing so tickled to have it done. Thanks for all the help from this site in getting it there. Gordon Sauer

Congrats, I agree the car is looking good. I missed the show this year (distracted by new arrival in the house hold!), hope one year I might have my car on the road and be able to attend in my +2. With the state of the paint work on my car would be no challenge for your car thou.
'73 +2 130/5 RHD, now on the road and very slowly rolling though a "restoration"

Wow, those look fantastic, there were only three in Watkins Glen at the Lotus owners gathering and you've got that many in your garage. Maybe you could get one of them to Colorado Springs for next year, they look great Gordon Sauer

haha continued.................Geeez bombed me out after 10 pictures...........the parcel shelf I have just renewed with new speakers. The centre brake light is off a Lotus Esprit and between the rear seats that carbunknle is my sensor alarm.................the car has central locking with the alarm and electric boot opening. The number plate is genuine and not a show plate. The car cover is as it is out the box and fits like it was tailored for the +2 at less than ?40 from Amazon and stays put even in our strong French scirocco storms due to the vents and good elastication

regards

Steve

Steve, do you recall the Amazon seller of that car cover? Nice to know ahead of time that the cover will fit decently, etc. Thanks.

Never get tired of seeing that purple roof!

Couple pix during a drive in the southern BC interior . . .

I love the period colours; makes me think of the "mod" or "swinging" '60s, which is exactly where the Plus 2 fits, in my opinion. BUT . . . my car will not be re-painted Bahama Yellow.
