Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I recently bought a 1968 Lotus Elan +2 and am completely new to this make. The headlights take about a minute to come up fully and another few minutes of driving before they lock into an upright position without any noticeable wobble. Can someone tell me whether this is normal...?

Not normal,sounds to me like either an air leak of partial blockage of one of the pipes...could also be stiff pod pivots?
