Car History - PSS 360H

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody knew any history of my Elan +2s. I bought it in November from Cleevewood Garage in Bristol, who I gather had had it in storage for about 4 years. Unfortunately, it came with no history. Just some old tax discs from 1973 and 1974, and then nothing until 2 receipts for work done by the last owner. From the tax discs and the registration number I can tell it was originally sold in the Scottish Borders area. I can also see that it was originally white (it is now yellow). I have contacted Tim and unfortunately there is nothing in the register for it.

Thanks,
Rob.

Forgot to mention. I have found a PDF (Plus2_numbers.pdf link below), which does list the VIN along with the engine number and the factory colour white. This does seem to be correct from looking at the paint work! Does anybody know where this came from?

download/file.php?id=28438

Thanks,
Rob.

Great! Thanks for sorting that out. I suppose I can follow your advice in that link and send an email to Andy Graham at Lotus. Are they happy to answer queries from owners of 40 year old cars?
