Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I was driving to work early yesterday morning and did a double take when I spotted both of these cars on the back of a parked transporter on a leafy residential street just outside of Carlisle (that?s the wet bit up in the left hand corner of England for our US cousins!).

I was sure I had seen the plus 2 before and, low and behold, it has been on Pistonheads. When I checked the auction website referred to in the PH advert I also spotted the Mk1 Escort!

Anyone on here bought them or perhaps they are on their way down to the auction. I just can?t understand what they were doing in Carlisle of all places!!?

I believe the auction is on 22nd of this month. There are quite a number of interesting cars going under the hammer at this one.

They were probably being collected from their owners oop north to be taken to the auction.
