Well, I'm sorry . . . but I can't quite tell from the photo . . . is that a golf bag tucked in there, behind the baby stroller? And you call yourself a familyman??

For shame . . .

In truth, I'm envious. I didn't get my Plus 2 'till my youngest was too big to fit in the back (two years later and he's REALLY too big . . . 6 foot). Shot all my plans for family outings with wife and son.

Hi Pete,

Spotted the ZV reg....and Wicklow etc.

Where are you?

I'm in the Midlands and also have a 'family man' Plus 2.

Used to regularly have Body Boards and bags in the boot.

But....used my car to bring a relation to his wedding on the weekend.
We're both around 100kg and had my youngest in the back as he was taking part in the ceremony too.
Boot was packed (including an acoustic guitar in hard case) for the night.

Well... we were nearly left stranded on the way into the church when we encountered dreaded (typically arbitrarilly dimensioned) ramps........

Hi Peter,

I've been meaning to get back to you. I still have your number from a welcome pm you sent me almost exactly a year ago! I've been engrossed in fixing up the car, a young baby, the wife and, oh yes, the day job! I'm in just south of Wicklow town. I was going to ask you about the man who did your engine.

It feels great to have the car finally out of the garage. I bought the car as a non-runner a year ago so it's nice to see I can at least get a car back on the road. I was quite surprised at what can fit in the boot. The next job is to get the offside rear lights working. I may need to call in a specialist as its abit daunting looking at all those wires. As they used to say in my old life "It looks like a snakes' wedding!"

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Peter

Nice!

Now I must see if I can fit three child seats in it!
