New to Elans but not to Loti...

I was, but lapsed. When I've sold a couple of the current cars here I'll start looking seriously again.

I have a 220bhp Caterham SV which I will be selling in the UK as putting it through the process of French plating is beyond my patience.

It's just had a new engine installed, a PTP Evo 220. Five speed box, R500 lightened flywheel, Titan Phamtom throttle bodies,
asymmetric velocity stacks, in special high-volume airbox, with unique cold-air intake collector system.
5 x 14" Minilites. Half hood etc etc contact me for details and pix!

Hal, for your original question regarding mileage, here is a pic of the Plus 2S brochure with mileage at different speeds. They look pretty optimistic to me, although the expected mileage of 28 mpg Imperial sounds about right from my experience. I had also seen similar figures to these in an original road test report, which goes a way to explain the higher mpg you had in mind.
