From Andy;- Just thought you'd be interested

Congratulations on the purchase, if chassis is 50/0032, this is a very early car. Based on serial number sequence, only the 25th retailed car (or 32nd built in serial number sequence).

Information is however limited due to the loss of some of the original documents. I know the original engine number was LP9210LBA. It was sold in kit form as a retail sale from Lotus on the 16th November 1967. Original colours were not recorded these early cars.
Not really sure what I've let myself in for yet

Congrats on the purchase!

A nice Elan +2 is a joy to own and drive :)

I have a '73 model.

Much prefer the lines of the earlier models like yours.

Subtle differences like the lack of front 'spot' recesses ane the boot lines are gorgeous!

Enjoy!

Peter
