Loads of upgrades possible and many opinions on the merits or otherwise of such upgrades Personally I draw the line at replacing the venerable twink but in wishing to build a car which was more suitbale for everyday use but which still looked externally 'in period' I have undertaken the following:
Spyder chassis
Poly bushes
3.54 diff (with 4 speed box)
Adjustable platform spirngs with TTR shocks on the front and Konis on the back
TTR diff mounts
Sue Miller drive shafts
Engine rebuilt to QED 360 spec and fully balanced
Bigger airbox
Wasted spark ignition system, 3D mappable
Infrastructure for future FI conversion inc Andy Wiltshire tank
Toothed pulleys to help save the water pump
Capillary oil gauge
Ceramic coated headers and home made heat shield to protect slave cylinder and clutch lever bellows
Better earth points
14 inch Minilites (not shown)
I have atttached some photos to shown the completed chassis.
Cheers

Lovin`those pictures Jono!
I might start the rebuild next month already, since it`s condition is seemingly getting worse (more oil leaks, no top revs, bad vibration at 60+ miles have started, rev counter stopped working...)
I`ll be using this thread actively to find out what will suit my car and my wallet best.
Again, thank you all for your replies!
