Was this last Saturday 19th Nov ? I've just searched the Telegraph archives and failed to find it. Do you have a link ?

Hi,

I purchased the Telegraph on Sat and Sunday and didn't see anything about the +2 Spyder ? Have I missed something ?
The only thing I saw was about the new MX5.

Nick

Hi

The article was on the front page of the Saturday Telegraph motoring. Massive picture of the red Spyder car. They did like it a lot, although they were being kind, and overlooked the crashworthiness and lack of safety devices such as headrests! The MX5 was inside front I think.

Berni
Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Had another search of the Telegraph site this evening, can't find the article. :(

Any idea if it is available, if so, link ?

In addition to the link added above, the following may work better over the long term -

I do have a copy of the Telegraph Motoring section spare so if anyone would like it please let me have your address by PM - the first to reply gets it!

Regarding the article for those that have read it, what are forum member's views - positive, negative or indifferent?

I've grabbed it and converted it to a single pdf file in case it falls off the telegraphs website into a pay for archive

Well Folks, it seems the article was there all the time, but the headline "Why buy an MX -5 ?" sent me off on the wrong scent. (ouch !)
Funny the Telegraph's search didn't respond to Spyder though.

I do not doubt all Plus 2 owners will be chuffed to read it, the outright sale price of a new Plus 2 at ?30,000 might perk up valuations a bit.
