You're right Fred, Elan is a sophisticated Sprite
I finally found a spinner hammer on ebay (the same seen from Frost) http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 1084wt_902

Hi Franck,

I hit a deer with my Elan last October so it is sitting in my garage next to my ex-works Sprite, which I have been restoring off and on for some time. This car was in France for a short period in June 1960 when it won its class at LeMans. I work one day on the Sprite, then a day on the Elan. Need to have both running soon. You can see the Sprite at www.Sebringsprite.com, which is Martin Ingals website. Then go to works cars, then 1960 12hr race (it also won its class at 1960 Sebring 12hr).

regards,
Roger

Hi Roger
Sorry for your Elan, sure our LBC doesn't like this kind of animals or SUV either.
I know Martin's website, he was at "Le grand Prix des Remparts" at Angouleme last year with a part of our members.
Well your Sprite is a part of history so you are a lucky man !
If you have some pictures to give, french spridget enthusiasts would be happy to see them on our website
