Hi all,
Well, just 10 months longer than expected....but I have my +2 back
Got her back a week before vacation, and am only a few days back from that now, so spent the weekend fixing things here and there.
Also, after ages choosing a colour (I decided to change the colour based on the presumption that 7 layers of paint = it was not in original colour) I looked at the paint code on the chassis plate.....it WAS in it's original colour:
Tawny with Gold Flake.....
Hmmm....well...you're light gunmetal now!
Some pic's of the process here:

Now.....back to my list of 'Lotus things to do'....I do believe I've found a self perpetuating list....

Hi Guys,
Sorry, not a lot of pics at the moment. She still has to be polished up, the exterior trim done etc.
But hopefully over the next week or so.
Some new parts on the way from Sue Miller
Thanks Terry for the heads up on the pics I had attached.
Depending on the light the car looks from light metallic blue (in dull - IRISH Summer - weather to light grey in sunshine)
So, some pictures from the first day she was back....finished putting her together at 3am the night before.

Hi Peter,
I love the colour, do you have a code for it?

Thanks, I may well follow your example, it's either gunmetal or light metallic blue.
