I like your style: matching colours for the Plus 2 and the Transporter.

Which came first?

Hi Mark,

Cannot believe that you are considering breaking the car! Should you decide that your other projects are taking up all your time, I am sure that through this forum you can find somebody to take it on.

I too would like to hear about your other projects,,,
...in the meantime I wouldn't mind owning your +2. The oatmeal interior is unique, and if original makes the car a one off.
I'm not sure what the F registration Lotus requirements are but some of the aforementioned items don't look original to me either.
Has anyone seen those style seats in another +2?
My '69 Federal version has high back black vinyl.

Mark,
IMHO this car has been "done up" before. I would suggest that the person doing the work had access to a crashed +2S because thats where I think all the non-standard parts came from and it also explains why they all fit correctly.
I would add that I would hate to see it broken as I like the early +2's and this could be saved. If you can prove the Chapman connection it would then be worth it.
Cheers
John

Hi,

Looks like it has a later front screen but early door handles? I wonder what the hole next to the brake servo is for? The chassis plate is missing as well.

Shame to break it though.
