Hi everybody, I'm a forum virgin but am about to buy a 1973 Elan +2 with a zetec engine, can anyone suggest an insurance company that would be interested in covering me?

Try Adrian Flux at Kings Lynn pretty reasonable even with young drivers if std. +2 Hagerthys at silverstone.

Bandjie

Try speaking to Kim, fellow poster "atthelimit" see his post under vendor listings.

A nice guy who fully understands Lotus cars. I have recently re-insured through his company and I am very pleased a good deal and pleasant to deal with.

I have no interest in the company, I am just a happy customer.

Good luck

Hi Bandjie,

I saw your post on insurance and I see that some other people have put my name forward as a contact.

I already insure a number of Zetec +2s and so we are quite familiar with them. If you do need any help please feel free to give me a call on:-
01162 333559 (Abbot Insurance Brokers)
ask for Kim

Nice to see another new person entering the Lotus world, good luck with the car.
