Peter, this was taken by me a few years back, and yes it is no illusion! We were on our way to the Classic Car show at the NEC about 7 years ago and this was the best way to get all three of us in the car. John is hamming it up a bit in the pic, and Bob (front seat) is quite a bit shorter than John, but we drove about 12 miles from Kenilworth to the show without too much chiropractic intervention.. With the front seat fully forward, there is a reasonable amount of room in the back, as John demonstrates.

Gave the showgoers a surprise in the car park when I got out (6'4"), then Bob and then John unfolded himself....

Thanks Jeremy!

I remember the story that went with the photo and when I downloaded it (them).

It was just before I bought my +2 and, while never expecting to carry such a load in my +2 (the tallest in my family is only 6'8" :) ) it was very nice to know....if I was ever stuck....we could carry some adults in the back too!

Hope all is well with your +2 and passengers!

Peter

The three of us went to the NEC show again last weekend, different car this time... Show was alright, but.... ?18+ parking buys a lot of pub lunch, and may be more entertaining. But seriously I found the show very crowded and sought refuge in the Motorcycle show after an hour or so battling through the crowds on Sunday.

Some interesting Lotus action, but the Hammerite stand was slightly more entertaining.
