Mine has exactly the same sponge on the underside of the bonnet

For that money I would have liked the original brake booster to have been rebuilt rather than replaced.

Just what is "too good to be used"?! Surely, they are all there to be used.. Sounds a bit like my mother-in-law when offered a piece of cake - "that's far to good for me". But she goes on to eat the lot!

It needs modifying.
I am now an ex-Elan owner but will drop by from time to time with some suitably inappropriate comments.

Jeremy, I meant used regularly (i.e would you be happy to park it in the street or leave it in a public car park etc), not just taken to the occasional classic car show when it is sunny & dry... :wink:
