Mystery Bits - can't find in parts book

Once again I'm humbled by my failure to identify parts from the pile of bits that was my car. I didn't disassemble it and my advice to anyone is take lots of pictures before and during disassembly!
There are two of each of these. I know, the chrome bit should be obvious. The other I'm completely clueless.
Thanks, Keith

Hi Kieth,
How are you?
The first one looks like the piece of trim that goes on the outside front lower edge of the driver's/passenger's door (chromed) window frame.....to hide any messy rubber or sealant. I'm missing my driver's side one.
The second....have you checked your kid's meccano set for missing parts?
Take care,
Peter

Well, I *did* have it in a bag marked "Doors?". Time to look harder at the manual
Thanks
Keith

Could be the 'slider' at the bottom of the doors, the bit that stops the door from opening too much...
Should have had one (two...) on my +2 as well...

The door straps in a 1968 Elan +2 that I owned several years ago were from a Rover P6 saloon. The strap in the photo does not resemble the Rover part.

Keith,
I think the second pic is of the bracket on which the window motor is mounted. Think you might be missing another bolt and spacer.
Cheers
John

Looking in the workshop manual I think the last post is right - it's part of the bracket that holds the window motor, although from the diagram the spacer and bolt are the wrong way round relative to the metal strip.

All these replies are wonderful. Thanks so much. The original picture didn't include everything and so I thought I should get a bit more thorough here and post the attached. Current thinking seems to be:
1. Window motor bracket
2. Door catch mechanism
3. Door catch link
4. Unknown - at first glance like the door catch but is not.
5, 6, 7 - look door-ish or window trim-ish
Thanks
Keith
