Hi
If the rear lights are the same as this picture then yes, I think the early Europa used the little round lights like the Elan?
Rear bumper = no
Front bumper = yes
Steering wheel = ???
Hope this helps

Jason,
I don't think the Europa ever used the little round lights. I think the early Europa used large horseshoe shaped lights. They were divided into 3 sections. And for some unknown reason, I have an image in my head of an early Europa sporting large round lights from a Cortina. Can't find any pictures to support this though.

the 3 piece rear lights on an s1 europa were from a Lancia --the ones shown are Jag [ as on my 70 s 2 ]-the steering wheel if its a triumph spit broach fine spline will fit ---the europa front bumpers are from an Anglia and may fit the shape but I think the mount brackets differ -the rear BUMPER ????NO IDEA TRY ASKING ON lOTUS EUROPA .COM ----ed

the three piece lens rear light on the early europas were off a lancia flavia sport (zagato).
Very rare and not easy to find although I think we might have some.
( We also collect lancia's in the family)
cheers

Hmm, those round, rear lamps are not even close to being original for any Europa. The tail lamps for S1B, S2 and TC/TC Special Europas have the 050 prefix in their part numbers for non-US cars, therefore they should interchange with Elan +2 units.

yes the rear lights will work --early Jag rear lights with a modified rear back up light --as you see are left and right handed --not cheap though -would not recommend removing the dis coloured windshield surround that s a guaranteed broken wind shield ----paint it silver and live with it 1 rd enterprises -2 Dave Bean ----3 ebay 4 flea markets [or auto jumbles ] --or the members on lotus europa .com --- IT IS ALL ABOUT EUROPAS -good guys mostly --love europas and know all about them --ed

[quote]So will the lights posted anbove work ?
If not, anyone knows where i can get a pair, and also a rear bumber
and a complete set of suspension rubbers
and rubber seals for front and rear windscreens
and new shock/spring setups for the 4 corners ?

Yes the jag rear lights are the same.
You can get all the other parts through the usual suspects = Mick Miller (sue), Paul Matty or SJ sportscars, they all have contact details in the business listing on this site.

I almost purchased a used Jaguar light at a swap meet to keep as a spare for either of my Lotuses. I decided against it because upon further inspection, I realized that the red lens (where the reverse light should be) could not be replaced with a clear one because it is an intregral part of the entire lens.

Yes the chrome surround is the same as the jag, the lenses and the light fittings are different. The Federal lens is also different; but I assume the Europa has the same lens and fittings as the +2.
+2 rear end attached for clarification.

(Jason 1) Aside from the usual suspects, Europa Engineering (Banks Service Station) would probably be worth trying... I've just bought a crash pad/dash top from them - the Europa one fits a +2.
