I recently posted a link to eBay on a +2 thread and was wondering..... after eBay removes the listing link,,,, that's it, gone. Right? If I had linked a page it would remain? Forever? How do I link a page, email to myself first?
It showed what a certain 1968 +2 is worth in March of 2008 in the USA.
Is there an easy permanent way to keep current internet information on the threads for Elan.net users twenty or thirty + years from now when posting links concerning cars for sale, or parts etc;?
Sincerely,
Lucas friendly but internet ignorant

It may be possible to save a web site off line for later viewing using IE.
There is a site that archives web sites for historical reasons. I'm not sure that it would be useful for individual Ebay listings, and forget its name right now.
HTTrack ( www.httrack.com ) has a utility that allows you to archive a web site to disk and view it later. I have used this to save Ebay listings. It is free.
