Wrote off the last +2 ever made in the 80s (in a fight with a tractor) :?
Just though I would share that :-)

(Although I gather it's back in one piece)

Interesting...

I've got some pictures of that car (attached), sent to me by UK Sporstcars when they were trying to sell it a few years ago. It's a five speed car, even though UKS told me it was a four speed (presumably because it has the wrong shift gaitor).

I think it was being sold for a third party because it was also listed in Club Lotus magazine for sale in Belgium. Also remember it being advertised on these boards...

Needless to say, UKS never mentioned it having been previously written off.

I wonder how many write-offs make it back on to the road. My last car didn't, if the DVLA vehicle search is anything to go by....

At least it's the same colour as before.. My friend bought the car from Peter Day in the mid 1980's...
I see that who ever fixed up the body didn't replace the badge on the front wing...

That's why it looks funny in the photo? No rectangular Lucas lamps at the front...

I wonder if anybody bought the car?

That's one of the things that put me off, I figured it had at least had a nose job if nothing else...

That would fit in with driving into a tractor round a blind corner in Huntingdonshire then ....
