Upholstery

PostPost by: Terry Posma » Wed Jan 25, 2006 2:05 pm

Firstly I am full of admiration for the members of this forum and the advice given by them. Keep it up.

I have a 1973 Plus 2S 130/5 which I would like to repair the front seats. Some of the inserts have split at the seams . Can anyone advise whether the original materials are still available and where it could be obtained? The balance of the upholstery is still very good and thus would like to replicate as close as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Terry,

Peter Day will know as he uses the correct insert material on his restorations and I believe Paul Matty can source it too.

Hope this helps,

Si

Hi Terry,

Sorry for not replying sooner. I'll send you the number in a PM as I'm not sure whether it's his home telephone and he wouldn't thank me for posting it.

Best wishes,

Si
