I wanted to purchase a spare starter motor that will suit both a BDA (large sump) and a lotus Twin-Cam. Preferably a high torque unit.
I think there may be something suitable and looking for recommendations.

Brise do a pre engaged starter that may be of interest. Just Google Brise starter motor.
