"This year we will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of Lotus with a showcase of 75 historic cars that will pay homage to “The Chapman Years”, from the marque’s foundation by Colin Chapman in 1948 until his death in 1982."

Damian,
Thanks for this. I hadn't planned on attending the revival this year, but given the Lotus connection, I will make an effort to attend. That's a great picture of Chapman on the Goodwood website.
FWIW, the member's meeting is coming up in a couple of weeks and has a Lotus Cortina only race to mark 60 years since its launch.
Andy.

Hi Andy -
Revival - I am planning to be there too, for the same reason
Members' meeting - And this one too. So long as I can get through the remaining winter jobs list in time and get the S3 back on the road.

For anyone attending, the Lotus Cortina race has (appropriately enough) been named the 'Jim Clarke Trophy'.
Practice is 13:30 on the Saturday, the race is 12:25 on Sunday. 30 cars expected, with an owner / celebrity 2 driver format (similar to the St. Mary's race at the revival).
Forecast for the weekend looks OK, so hopefully an enjoyable time to be had.
I'm not a big fan of Goodwood as a driver, long fast straights which don't really suit the Elan, but there are some great corners for spectators. Woodcote (the 'Super Shell' building) is my favourite.
