I am trying to put together a complete Lotus memorabilia collection to go with my elan, the first flotation of "group lotus plc" shares was I think in the 1970's . Are there any paper certificates around ? Does anyone have an exact date and name

Nope, it was earlier than that that they floated, shortly after the move to Hethel, 1967 or 68, from memory.

I’ve a copy of the first report and accounts knocking around somewhere which I can look out.

so if it was the 1960's ,there definitely were shares certificates issued anyone ever seen one ?

I think you’ll find Group Lotus went public in October/November 1968.
