Does anyone know where to source the metal clip that holds the headlight knob on for an S4 or Sprint? The pic below shows the type of clip I mean.

These springs are not that easy to find or make, but I had some made by Lancashire Springs a while ago. They were made to suit the headlight vacuum switch but it looks similar to your photo. Lancashire springs are not in business and these tiny springs are not cheap. The wider base is 6mm × 13mm - the thinner top piece adds 2.5mm to the base as it curves around. The return top spring is 3.6mm wide x 12.6mm long. The hole in the wider base leg is 3.5mm. Let me know if it is suitable.

If you have a real Clock Repair shop in your vicinity, the kind where a craftsman could make pivots, gears & springs etc during repairs (!) having such a person make a flat spring with a button like that should be dead easy.

(!) Like the bloke on the TV program "The Repair Shop".

Not difficult to make one yourself. If you have a heat source and files.
