Took my Elan to the Goodwood Revival on friday. A great show as always and so many classic cars in the parking area including many Elans. Mine is the regency red one.

Bill,

I was there on Sunday. Damp in the morning, but made for some great track action.

In spite of the very fancy machinery on display, the highlight for me was the Brooklands Trophy race and a crazy 1928 Frazer Nash that looked like a chopped hearse, driven by Patrick Blakeney Edwards and Nick Swift. Link below to it competing at Goodwood in 2017.

Worth the price of admission just to watch this race.

Edit: Although it looked the least likely car on the grid to stand any sort of chance, it actually came second.

That is the Owlette and is well known for being driven at ten/tenths by PBE and often winning, or at least placed on the podium.

He owns the very interesting to visit Blakeney Motorsport (https://blakeneymotorsport.com/), just up the road from me at Buntingford.

Great clip, Andy, that's how I saw it on the Goodwood feed. The ultimate Q car!

And a GN 1-2-3, perhaps we should all lock our diffs.
