A / Let me look at the car and chat about pitfalls etc
B/ Take me as a passenger to see if its a plausible & worth pursuing Possibly let me drive? ( I would of course arrange insurance)

Hi John
I'm in Fleet, Hants so about as far away from you as possible while still in Hants! So about an hour / 45 miles away. I've got a pair of Plus 2s, one being rebuilt completely the other currently being rewires but should be finished in a week or two...
You are welcome to come up for a chat and a walk around both cars. If you want - post up a reply if you want and I'll pm you my contact details.
Regards
Matt

You have my sympathy :) It should be a law written in bold that cars should be outside any divorce settlement :D Especially if it is a Cortina Mk1

Many years ago, my measly offer of £38k on Bruce Reynolds' Cortina was quickly squashed in the mud by someone who went on to pay £99k..! Allegedly still only with the recce mileage of the Hertfordshire countryside, the owner is turning down offers of a quarter a million...
