Transporting a Elan Frame up the West coast

PostPost by: 3lotus » Fri Apr 03, 2020 4:51 pm

Hi, I an buying a Elan frame in San Diego and I live in on Whidbey island near Seattle. Is anyone making the trip with some extra room ? I'm happy to pay my way and pickup in Seattle, Portland , ? .
Also if anyone has shipped commercially and can recommend a good shipper.
I know it's long shot, but you never know.
Thanks, Paul

I don't know his schedule, but I've used Chris Ridgway to haul at least 5 cars for me over the years, including my Elan from the Midwest to Oregon. He's very careful and has a home base in CA. You can reach him at 714.402.0129.

I always just strap Europa frames to the roof of whatever vehicle I'm driving. Even used a '90 XJ6 Sedan once. Works like a charm.

Born, and brought home from the hospital (no seat belt (wtf)) in a baby!
Find out where the limits are, and start from there
