well, I guess it depends on stocks: I ordered parts from them about 2 weeks before your gasket troubles, and they just aknowledged the payment yesterday... I also ordered a head gasket, water pump kit, oil filters and misc consumables to keep in advance from QED and got that within a couple days (in case of emergency they even can ship same day, after a phone call).

The real test of any company is not when things are going smoothly but how well they respond when there is an issue. Most of them have their logistics pretty well worked out now. Eg - how readily they'll give you a refund or replacement when there is an obvious quality or design problem and what their technical assistance is like. Lots of variable experiences there!!

I have bought quite a few parts from Burton and they have been reliable and helpful on the phone. As mentioned by 2Cams70, they did not mess about on a refund.
I have yet to use the parts on the road, but dyno testing of the Burton cassette water pump system did not through up any issues.
I have also fitted the Burton concentric clutch slave and this seems beautifully made (NB: no need for any spacers using a fast road clutch with a standard gearbox).
