Penrite oils - any opinions?

It seems the subject of oil brands and types has come up recently and as always has proven to be a controversial subject of conversation. Has any one had any experience using Penrite oils in various applications? They're an Australian company and have been around a long time. Their product range seems every bit as extensive as Redline et. al (probably even more so). Rohan - do you have any opinions? As you know their products are freely available almost everywhere in Australia. I've been using Penrite products for a long time and never had any issues myself.

I have started using the Penrite 10/10th racing engine oil rather than the Redline equivalent in my Elan as its cheaper and appears to have a similar formulation with a group 4/5 base oil blend and it holds oil pressure after a hot long race well just like the Redline did unlike most other oils I have tried. In my road cars I use the Penrite normal full synthetic engine oils which I beleive is a group 3/4 base oil blend

I have tried their gear lubes but I have found the gear change is better with Redline MTL / MT90 in both my race and road cars so i have stuck with Redline for gear oils in all my cars

I use Penrite 15W-50 in my Elan - very happy and as Rohan said, it does hold oil pressure well when hot (though I don't track the car). Have also used Penrite oils in the everyday drives. Again perfectly happy.

I was thinking about using their Classic Light oil next time. Thoughts on this? Extra zinc and the like always seems like a good idea!
