This forum is for the earlier 63 to 73 Elans and Plus 2 so nothing here on the later front wheel drive Elans. if you google M100 Elan forum you will find a range of places covering those cars. If you just interested in the early Elans also welcome.

Excellent car,you'll enjoy the superb handling...also with the added bonus of not having an oily driveway , and be able to keep up with modern traffic without having your teeth fillings rattling...

HI Leon,
Have you joined a club. Club Lotus North West meets at the Houghton Arms off the M65 with a couple of members having a 90's Elan. Lotus Owners Club meets there as well.
For south Manchester, Club Lotus have a Cheshire branch.
Other car clubs are available !

Sounds like you've got a nice car. The values of this are slowly rising and I think it is fair to say you've mad a wise choice in buying a convertible lotus (its only going to go up!).
