Posted: Mon Dec 24, 2018 9:44 amRomsey's a bit far for me on Boxing Day (the in-laws have summoned us!) but I was thinking about Brooklands on New Year's day, or, failing that, the Bicester Heritage 'Scramble' on Jan 6th. Anyone else got those pencilled in?

I will also have my 69 S4 at Brooklands on New Years Day.
For those who are not aware of this it is the biggest Classic Car gathering in the UK on New Years Day with normally 5,000 + visitors and 1,000 + cars on site.
Glad to meet up for a chat if any one is going - I will be working (volunteering!) there that day so just ask for me at Reception and they can contact me.

Posted: Wed Dec 26, 2018 1:26 pmSteve, popped in this morning for a look round, busy as always. Didnt take mine, engines out waiting for zetec to be dropped in.
For local people, Wickham square is also busy and full of cars, bikes and other interesting steam powered beasts.(just of m27 j10, head north)

Just out of Bournemouth on the A338 and the Plus 2 misfires badly, then cuts out and coasts to a halt on the grass verge.
It has never broken down before. Why today? Who knows.
Managed to phone a friend and get it back home on his trailer. I assume it's electrical, so duff coil or the electronic ignition module (The Powerspark one) hidden in the distributor cap.
We will see tomorrow, if I can try and muster a bit of enthusiasm.
