After eight years of searching, my luck was in, found and bought the correct boot handle on eBay.
Fitted today .

Hi There

Lifted my +2 body off of its wooden frame and dropped down onto wood spanning the new Zetec chassis et al, so nearly there. Just a few things to attend to before it can come all the way down.

Photo below shows we used an engine hoist attached to the safety belt mountings in the sill. I can take it up and down now easily while I shim up etc.

All the best

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Drove to a lovely little Lotus soiree yesterday. Good food and chatted to some interesting people. Thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Yes it was Timothy. I had expected to see your beaming smile but had to put up with Malcolm's.

Ah! Yes, rather an eleventh hour party invite to a friend’s 70th in Beverley, so I was sad to have to miss the Hinton do.

By all accounts it looks to have been a good one!
