Hello,

I am a newbie in here so I hope this is posted in the correct section.

I am restoring an 90 Elan M100 bit the 2 rear lights are needing repaired.

I believe new ones are ?500 each but I am told there is a cross match compatible item that can be used.

Does anyone more about this?

Thanks John

I'm afraid you have gone to the wrong Elan group, this group is for the original Elans.
You need to go to http://www.lotuselancentral.com/ which caters for M100 cars.

The donor car for the M100's tail lights is the equally rare Renault Alpine A610/ GTA. Looking to that car for more available, or less expensive parts is like jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

That's like the front turn signal lights on the Esprit V8. They're hard to come by as well... but wait! There's a donor car. The McLaren F1. Screwed.

Good luck,
Tim Engel
