I meant to mention Graeme (661)'s black JPS liveried Exige. I didn't get a picture of it, but my god it shifts. Watching it leave the pit lane and accelerate onto the track was truly impressive.
Absolutely perfect weather for it, and lots of other exotic cars tooling around. Anyone else see the white McLaren M4P?

Thanks for the photos of a cracking day. It was good to put some faces to names from this forum and see their excellent cars.
I'm sure that all, with the sad exception of the driver of the Elise, enjoyed themselves. Congrats to Chris for organising this annual event for what I believe is his 34th time! Simon also did outstanding work in organising the 'older' cars into their own session.
Great to see Steve Gooch's 1959 Elite being driven with such panache! It really is a very elegant, and fast, car.
Yes, the Yellow Elan hardtop in one of Jon's photos (looking down on the start/finish) is mine. More like a traffic light yellow than a Lotus yellow, but at least it's pretty visible!

It was a fantastic day.
Highlights were seeing flames spit out of Steve's twin exhausts on his Elite as he chased a +2 up the back straight, as well as meeting so many nice people and sharing car stories.
Such a well organised event.

Nice pictures guys, thanks for posting them.
I get the Sussex area newsletter sent direct to my mailbox, so there's really no excuse for me never turning up to this event. Must try harder for next year.

Alan,
Me too. I really should plan ahead for it but atleast i had a weekend of racing Yachts. Next year perhaps.
Great photos being posted, thanks. A whole track of twincam noise must be sensational. Sorry i missed it.

Yes Jon, that was my white S3 in the photo. Taking no prisoners! It really was great chatting to Don, Graeme, Rich and the others and comparing notes. My first track day with the group and I was made to feel very welcome indeed.
Quite pleased with this shot of my car from above the pits. She looks like a model!
Speaking of photos, there was a gentleman taking pictures of cars going through the chicane. I gave him my email address and he promised to send a picture through, but I fear he couldn?t read my handwriting! If anybody has his detail please could you let me know?
Best
Steve
