Thanks for the photo from LOG 14. Going to try to make LOG 38 and hope to meet many of you who have helped me sleuth #1323.
I've followed the thread a bit farther back. I located Brian Kerr who was named on EWR's registry as a prior owner. Brian is a sculptor and metal working artist with a studio on the shores of Lake Superior in far northern Wisconsin. His father Dr. Harold Kerr, also an artist and originally from Illinois bought the car in the mid-60s. One of two Elites he owned, he sold it then bought it back and gave it to his son. Brian owned the car through the '70s but isn't sure exactly when he sold it or to whom ... so maybe more of a gap to research.
Brian shared a few photos showing the car in its original silver paint with a tan interior. One neat piece of confirmation on the car's history: Brian made a small brass plaque and stamped it with the serial # "1323" and affixed the plaque to the firewall ... the plaque is still there and visible.
