Seems to me that only the wealthy (or mad Americoswiss) would travel halfway around the world to meet up with a bunch of Internet strangers. I suspect LOG in the US or Castle Combe in the UK (or enter your continent's gathering of choice here) would suffice for the vast majority of folk interested in meet ups. If I recall correctly it was tried at Castle Combe a few years back but wasn't awfully successful I'm afraid. Job's comforter mode off/
